DAY 6 – 30DaysOfAvoToast: The Superfoodie

I’ve been working to incorporate chia seeds into my diet ever since I learned of how nutritious they are two years ago. Loaded with fiber, protein, and Omega-3s, these seeds are ideal to add into smoothies, granola, and pudding (newsletter subscribers should stay tuned for my favorite pudding recipe at the end of this series)!

Of course, chia seeds go very well with AvoToast, but not just by themselves. We paired them up with blueberries for their fiber, Vitamin C, and Vitamin K. Enjoy this recipe for a super breakfast packed with superfoods.

The Superfoodie: AvoToast with Blueberry and Chia Seeds


Toast the bread.

Mash avocado with some squirts of lime juice.

Decorate avocado on toast, and sprinkle with blueberries and chia seeds.

  • 2 slices of whole grain toast
  • 1/2 avocado
  • Lime juice
  • 1 cup of blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
