What You Need

  • 1 large ripe avocado
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled
  • 1/2 tablespoon lime or lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons avocado oil (can substitute olive oil)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Food processor or blender

Instructions

  1. Scoop avocado out of the skin
  2. In a food processor, blend together avocado, garlic, lime (or lemon) juice, avocado oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Process until smooth
  4. Add about 1/4 cup water until you have your desired consistency.
  5. Store, refrigerated, in an airtight container for up to a week.
